Kanafeh Shop Near Mohammed Ali Road, Mumbai

Sufy’s Kanafeh Point is a working kanafeh kitchen in Umerkhadi, Chinchbunder — a few minutes from Mohammed Ali Road, in the part of South Mumbai that has fed the city its Middle Eastern sweets for generations. We make our own kataifi dough on site, which means the kanafeh you pick up from the counter was built from strand to syrup in the same building.

Getting here

By train — Sandhurst Road and Masjid Bunder are the closest stations, with Dockyard Road also within reach. All three are a short auto ride away.
By road — come off the JJ Flyover towards Chinchbunder and Umerkhadi. Approaching from Crawford Market or Null Bazaar is straightforward.
From the suburbs — if you are coming down from Bandra, Andheri or Powai just for the dessert, call ahead. We will tell you what is coming out fresh that day so the trip is worth it.

Parking in this part of South Mumbai is what it is. Most people who visit us park a short walk away rather than at the door.

Trade counter: kitchens can collect

Restaurants, bakeries and cloud kitchens in South Mumbai often skip delivery entirely and send someone to collect. Because production is on site, a South Mumbai kitchen can usually get fresh wholesale kataifi dough the same day it is made, in 1 kg, 5 kg or 10 kg packs, without waiting for a delivery slot.

Can’t come in?

You do not have to. We deliver across Mumbai, Thane and Navi Mumbai, and you can order kanafeh online or order baklava online instead. The counter exists for people who want it hot, today, and for the trade customers who prefer to collect.

Not for a small pick-up, though calling first is always safer. For trays, party quantities or a specific flavour, book at least a day ahead so it is made fresh for you.
